Eagle Mount – Possibilities, Acceptance, Community, and Teamwork.

Our EMPACT program offers Equine-Assisted Learning, where horses serve as the primary teachers.  We added the EMPACT program to our Animal Assisted Activities in 2019 with the vision of providing a unique and inclusive experience for our community. The program is designed to promote personal growth, community outreach, leadership, and much more.

Led by Eagle Mount staff, participants engage in a series of hands-on activities designed to promote growth in leadership skills, nonverbal and verbal communication, teamwork, and personal development.

Through these experiences, the horses impart valuable lessons and insights, fostering meaningful personal growth.

“By working with horses, we really were put in real leadership roles and were required to work (together) and communicate. These lessons will easily transfer over to our human interactions.”
