Local Organizations to Offer Nurturing Pathways - Growing the Mind Through Movement

 

( Great Falls ) – Are you interested in supporting your child's motor development? Does your infant need some structured activities that will advance their cognitive, physical and emotional function? Does your toddler love to dance? Enrich their experience with Nurturing Pathways, a unique program that will develop their skills all around.

Eagle Mount and Missouri River Dance are offering Nurturing Pathways - Growing the Mind Through Movement TM for babies and toddlers to stimulate infant and toddler motor skills, teach parents fun activities for babies, and help develop the baby's body and brain. The classes focus on patterns of movement, rhyming exercise, sensory play and music to enhance development.

Jill Van Son from Eagle Mount along with Dugan Coburn, Leslie Steensrud, and Quincie Lords of Missouri River Dance successfully completed training in Seattle and are licensed instructors for Nurturing Pathways.

Eagle Mount and Missouri River Dance will start classes in January at the Missouri River Dance studio. Eagle Mount will offer classes for infants and toddlers with physical, mental or behavioral challenges. Missouri River Dance will offer classes for infants and toddlers. “We are very excited to be offering this opportunity to the Great Falls community,” said Dugan Coburn, owner of Missouri River Dance. “This program will enrich the bond between parent or caregiver and child,” added Jill Van Son, Program Director for Eagle Mount.
