Eagle Mount Great FallsVolunteers either help ‘One on One’ with a participant or with a group as a bowling ‘Coach’. As a ‘One on One’ volunteer you will be paired up with a participant who needs a lot of assistance in bowling – some things you may be doing: pushing wheelchair, preparing bowling ramp, putting ball on bowling ramp, or assisting participant push ball off ramp. As a “coach” you are there as a mentor and cheerleader. They will look to you for the thumbs up and sometimes ask for some advice on their bowling technique. All volunteers are also there to assist with crowd control by helping the participants to follow the rules and to behave. Other things a volunteer may do – ask bowling ally workers to assist with any lane issues or ball jams during bowling, help with entering information into scoring system, assist bowlers in ordering food, making sure everyone is where they are suppose to be, and waiting with participants until they are picked up.
