Eagle Mount Great FallsFNO Volunteers come as mentors and to provide general assistance. Volunteers can expect to help with games, crafts, cleaning, projects, pushing wheelchairs, dancing, or just hanging out with the group. Volunteers will also assist with crowd control by helping the participants to follow the rules and behave, making sure everyone is where they are suppose to be, and waiting with participants until they are picked up.
Bright Orange Ballet
(ages 6 & up)
This special ballet class, taught by Karen Thornton, pirouetted in as a new Eagle Mount program November of 2011.
Ballet presents benefits in sequential memory and recall, focus and staying on task, increased selfdiscipline, and extended visual, physical, and mental attention.
Program Schedule
Ballet is NOT FOR EVERYONE - please read criteria carefully.
(The instructor will evaluate dancers to see if this class is appropriate for him/her)
* Dance Attire: Formfitting pants (i.e. yoga pants), formfitting shirts and ballet shoes.
* All dancers MUST be able to take instruction, respond and cooperate with the instructor in a group setting. There will not be time for individual instruction.
* All dancers MUST be able to listen and communicate appropriately with the instructor(s) and other dancers.
* All dancers MUST come in appropriate dress for safety, east of movement and for instructor to watch their movement patterns.
* All dancers should make their best effort to be present at every class. Each class will build on the last and it will be difficult to keep up with the class if dancers miss days.
* Please do not bring sick dancers - call Eagle Mount at 454-1449 if your dancer will not be attending class.
